The Why and Wherefore
This blog is the faithful diary of an American student studying abroad at the University of Leicester in Leicester, England. All blog posts are more or less the truth, with some rephrasing and tightening up to make them more tasteful to readers not present at the time of the incident.
What one might expect of a university student will not be found in this blog. There are no references to drunken parties, admissions of abandoning course work or declarations of falling passionately in love with a local. Instead, it is simply the record of a young, nerdy, early riser who can be found at the gym sweating to no avail, reading a book in the middle of a noisy cafe or sitting in the third row of a Shakespeare play. Apologies.
To old friends and new, this one's for you. (Sorry. Dunk my head in a bucket.)
